<VV> 65 to 66-69 Manual Differential differences

Besides the dipstick and 2 extra bolt holes what other differences are there between 65 and later differentils?
   
  I know you can bolt an early 4 spd to a 66 and later differential but will a saginaw 4 spd bolt up to a 65 differential case.
