That sort of thing *only* relates to classification.  The judges  
don't care what a specific thing is, just the quality.  If you want  
to compete in Factory Stock, or Factory Stock Restored, then it might  
be a requirement.  If you are interested in building a great looking  
car to compete in Concours and aren't worried about what class you  
land in, then it doesn't matter.
