<VV> Reinstalling steering shaft snap ring

They do sell that tool at FLAPS you know.... newer columns are 3 times  
harder.....with tilt..there's no shaft movement!
 
DeckRugs ULTRA tool???
 
I just use a 1" x 1"  piece of tubing / pipe....
 
mark at the 1/2" of length..
 
cut out 1/3-1/2 of that circle  slip SR  onto shaft as far as  possible
 
use a washer on top and then the nut... tighten...groove is visible!
