<VV> Cylinder stud question

I'd do it like this:
Separate the rocker stud/nut from the head stud.
Put a steel ball in the rocker stud and screw the head stud back into it.
Put a little blue Loctite on the case end threads.
Quickly screw the stud back into the case, being careful to get it the
right depth.
Wait a bit and unscrew the rocker nut from the head stud.
The ball keeps the rocker stud/nut from screwing so far down on the head
stud that it becomes a permenant part of it. ;-)
I use blue Loctite because it will come out if you have a problem (like you
can't get it all the way in).
If the pulled stud is the forward one, the screw in depth is critical. Too
deep and it will hit the #4 rod bolt.
