Jason,

As far as the seat goes, that is going to be personal preference. I prefer
bucket seats, of a much later design, but the difference between early 60's
seats....... I can't tell much difference, they are all uncomfortable to me.

As far as the seat belts go, if your floor is structurally sound around the
seat belt mounting areas, I would go ahead and add them. If the metal is
thin, then I would cut and replace with new metal, then back it up with
something thicker still.
