Hi all,
Haven't posted in a really long time, my membership was listed with an
address two years back! I have a project 63 coupe that's on it's way to the
body shop for new floor pans and in preparation of making this a daily
driver. I have already pulled the drivetran out, and removed all the cables
and lines from under the car. I am at the point where I've been looking at
the cracked and hard as rock bushings and rubber cushions and I am thinking
of removing the rear cross member to replace them. This is one item I have
never attempted before and was looking for some advice about if it is worth
it. I drove the car home from the guy I bought it from, and it didn't seem
that bad, but I'm figuring I am just a few bolts and a some coin away from
getting it out, cleaning it up, por 15, and painting it.
Any thoughts?
