<VV> snap ring plier tool

looking for opinions on snap ring (aka TRUARC)  
              pliers, brands, qualities, likes, dislikes, ratcheting, non ratcheting as it relates to corvair related repairs. and as it relates to ease of usuage
I lean towards the trusty channel lock brand, but also looking at SK brand tools. cannot consider snap on or mac, although I can dream right? nor can I consider generic off brand tools.
