<VV> Oil again

I haven't changed oil in my 4 door for over a year - not many miles but well past the  six month limit.  All the oil recommendations have been read but finding the right oil on the shelves of suppliers has been frustrating.
     Well, today I found some Quaker State 10W-40 at the local Autozone that is marked SL in the donut (not energy conserving)  It is just marked API Service SL and nothing else.  Is this OK to use?  I don't want to drain it out if it is the wrong stuff, as I have done before.  Dennis Dorogi
