<VV> Re; arcing at coil

Guys:  The ignition wire going to the pos post on my coil resembles a "U".  The fingers of the "U" were too long and barely touching the top of the coil surrounding the post.  I could see a faint glow in the darkness of a closed barn.  It even got brighter when I revved the engine.  I trimmed off the long fingers on the ignition wire and it cured my problem.  Robbing primary voltage must have REALLY robbed the secondary voltage going to the spark plugs.  Ernie
