<VV> Bias vs. radial

Personally, I for the life of me cannot understand certain clubs (like the
AACA, for example) thinking that way. It defies logic. Sure, those cars
didn't have radials when new. But they also didn't have seat belts, and
some didn't even have safety glass, either. So what's with their hangup on
inferior tires? It's carrying "originality" too far.
