After the shop manual, for me, #1 is Bob Helt's "The Classic Corvair". This
brings together almost everything that we've all learned (a portion of) over
the last 30 years. I refer to it at least once a week. Far more useful than
the oft mentioned Tech Guide because it's a coordinated overview of each topic.
Definitely #1 for me, though I must admit that I don't have a copy of
"Corvair Basics", which Bob edited after many parts were written by a variety of
authors. Someone have a comparative opinion re those two?
