There are times when you may want to defog but you don't want any heat.
This is very common in Hawaii where the windows fog up when you have the AC
on. And, that's why my '75 Olds chills the defrost air to dry it before
blowing it on the windshield. The Corvair allows you to blow unheated air
which is a benefit in warm, humid conditions.
