<VV> Broken power-top switch - any ideas?

The switch of the power-top on my car broke. To be more specific the  
chrome leaver that is attached to the actiual electrical switch came  
off. I can still get the top up and down but refitting the chrome  
lever would be a bit more convenient! It seems to have been a clamp  
on construction but it doesn't hold anymore. Tried to gently bent the  
tabs in a bit but the little piece left broke of. Does anybody know  
of a solution? Can it be glued on, if yes, what glue would stick?  
Other ideas?
