I don't know if this has already been reported on V V but RM Auctions sold  a 
red, #2 condition '64 Spyder Conv. on 6/9/07 for $51,700.   Many  other cars 
sold at "stupid" money at this auction.  Like $495,000 for a '53  Buick 
Skylark conv. and $286.000 for a '65 Blk/Blk GTO conv.    $440,000 for a '53 
Corvette.  From the brief description on the Corvair, it  looked like a circa $15,000 
car to me.
