<VV> Front suspension rebuild advice

I disagree with the advice about taking as much off the front axle/cross
member while it's in the car.  

So do I!


Maybe if you have a lift to use, it makes sense to do the work on the car

I do, and it doesn't in my experience!  I pull the front cross-member/Front
suspension nearly intact and disassemble out of the car, lowering it with an
ATV jack.  Some may wish to fight springs in the car....but not me!  YMMV!
