Need more info to give valid information.
When you say miniatures, do you mean 1/18th scale Ertl diecast?
E-bay is the way to search if any have any value.

Some are desireable, but I have seen some sell for less than they cost new.
Shipping is a detriment to selling these as well.

I recently ran into several Sunstar, Ertl, road champs cars that a widow
was selling from her late husbands collection.
I bought the Diorama versions of the Americn Muscle series for $20 each.
They cost $49.95 new.
On the other hand there are limited editions available from companies like
Peach tree and others that hold their value and increase in value due to
specific color combinations.

Gary Swiatowy
has a room full of diecast and then some.

Hmmm ... I have been asked to help settle an estate, amongst other car
trivia, there are hundreds of minatures, mostly fords so far ... I am
keeping my eye out for corvair stuff, tho. (g) ....

Anybody know of best references for find out the value of these mostly
new/in original pack/ miniatures....

Most interestingly, some are of models that apparently never reached market
... Ertl co apparently gets early information and beats the cars to market
with the miniatures ... heh heh.

any ideas, good or bad ... would be appreciated.
