My 1963 Rampside stays at full awhile, then goes to 3/4 , then to a half fairly quickly even though at that point (1/2 tank) I can only get 6 gallons more into it.If I keep running it once I get to E if I slow to a sudden stop gauge will jump up a bit indicating to me the actual amount of gas in the tank.I have grown used to this arrangement.
And now I have 1 of the 95HP heads installed. Good bye 140's. No thanks to them.
(This should be on my post "cylinder heads for reliability").
