Also, the Vair is cheap compared to alternatives of the same power and  
powerful compared to alternative of the same cost.  Looks like a risky  thing to me.





Yeah - "Cheap" is way down the list for any aircraft engine I would ever  fly 
with. Not that I would build one. I prefer to keep at least two wheels on  
the ground - Preferable three or four - at any one time.  -  Seth
