Jerry, here's a copy of my previous post, I think this is what you were
looking for:
I tried the stock size govenor o-ring from Clark's, leaked. Didn't have a
second stock one but I compared it to the pushrod o-ring, id is slightly
larger but fits snug on the govenor so I tried it. Still leaked but maybe a
little less. I tried two of the pushrod o-rings but the leak was still
present but slower than just one of the stock size.
Well, since the e-mail, I went to NAPA autoparts and found an o-ring with
the same id as stock but maybe 30% larger section width Balkamp #727-2210.
It made the governor a snug fit but was still able to install by hand.
PRESTO!! Leak is totally gone now. Yee Haw! That made me very happy.
