Hi Ron,
Regarding the stumble during hard cornering, see the article in the 
June 2007 Corsa Communique by Mike Mc Gowan about carb bowl vents.  How 
about THAT for great timing?   It provides everything you need to know 
to make this simple modification.  

If you are not a member of CORSA, this would be yet another reason to 
join.  This simple change is a lot less expensive than the 90 degree 
change.
