Hi:
Other than the "cut" for the secondary carbs, is there a difference
between the "top shroud" of a 140 and a 110?
Does anyone in the Charlotte area have a working used (or new) vacuum
advance unit for sale? The car is a 66 - 110 - 4speed !

They are made from the same stamping. The only difference is the two extra
cut-outs for the carbs. The oil cooler shroud area is actually shorter for a
12 plate cooler - NOT LONGER. The round points on the 110 shroud are just
chopped off to allow the much bigger separate cooler cover to mate with the
cut-off shroud. You will need a 12 plate cooler cover, but it is easy to mod the
"8-plate" 110 shroud to fit the 12 plate cooler and the 140 heads. You can
measue the amount to cut by checking an existing 140/180 shroud. - Seth Emerson
