I've seen much worse running fine in an old engine.   I'd not worry 
about it.   Maybe might hit it with a small grinder to knock off any 
ridge in the "smile" on the piston to make sure nothing sticks up 
high enough to cause a hot spot.

I'd knock off any ridge in the smile, and run the piston and not give 
it a thought.
