Many sizes and shapes of under vehicle air tanks are available at your
nearest heavy truck parts store. These are the same tanks used for
air-brake equipped vehicles. One great feature is that almost all have
brackets or mounting ears already welded on for easy installation.
An alternative idea for on-board air is to obtain a used CO2 tank. (Check
at a welding or beverage supply house) Since compressed CO2 condenses to
and is stored as a liquid, even a modest sized bottle contains quite a
large volume of gas.
