<VV> decoding axles?

The ebay ad for that 69 vert got me thinking... where can I find the info I need to identify which ratio axle I have without actually measuring and counting turns?  Should be easy as the car is in pieces! ggg  I'd like to know what ratio I've got, but its not worth a whole lot of trouble to me.

Also, while we are at it what were the available ratio's with the four speeds?
