In sunny So Cal, we passed that long ago !
I think the GasCo's are just testing us, to see if we've gotten used to the
pain, so they can do it to us again.
Wait for summer !
Fun, Fun, Fun, Til Exxon takes your T-Bird away ! (OK, ... Vair)

Here in the Chicago, area with gas prices going rapidly north of $3.25,
the gas companies have a new way to gouge us; they no longer raise the
price for the next higher grade by 10 cents but bump it up 12 to 14 cent
s for the next grades. As soon as the 1st oil company started doing
that then every one else jumped on the band wagon with the same pay
plan. I guess that as long as I can afford to go for ride in my car
just for the fun of it with no goal in mind, I will pay at the pump and
do so.

I did have both vairs out today with no particular place to go, just
took them out and drove them. Did notice the price of 87 octane was
$3.19 and I use the hi octane at .20 more a gallon.. I'm getting ready
for the day I can't afford to drive as far. Doing Mini-marthon Saturday
(13.1 Miles) and on to Corvair show in the afternoon. I'm 68 and hope
to be able do it for a few more years as that's one thing that keeps me
going. Ken
