You might've done better if you had asked

Who's running     Re-Riveted / Bolted / Welded Flywheels   and how long  [ 
miles ] have they been in use?

And you'd still get the same responses!   Offended people, etc....

So many things / proceedures that were the "norm" 30-40 years ago are now 
regarded as  BAD / EVIL / Silly / Foolish / etc.....  mostly due to 
ignorance......IMO
