I'd agree with that first statement. The LM IS the more timeless style.
While it has aged well, the EM simply looks its age. While the LM wears
time well.

On the second statement, it's easy to figure why foreigners prefer
4doors. They're smarter than us. After all, just look at the dumb things
we do politically. LOL
