Stay away from STP and others that thicken the oil.  I would also be careful
in general of additive addition, since it destroys the additive balance.
The more you skew the additives toward anti-wear instead of balance, the
more you build deposits.  Remember that all these additives are polar.
There is only so much surface area to coat.  Sludge build-up starts where
the detergent is out of balance.  I would just stick to a good CI-4 oil that
is Group II or Synthetic.
