You are absolutely correct.  I have a 67 and on this car I noticed a 67-69 steering wheel, 67 Interior, 67-69 master cylinder and 67 tail lights.  Something is wrong, or, the vin may be correct and these parts were from a donor car.  But I agree, buyer beware.
