Subject: Period cars needed for graduate student thesis film
Hi Gary,
I came across your website and wanted to contact you about your interest in
using your car, or the cars of members of your club, in my graduate student
thesis film Once Beautiful Past. You can find more information about me and
the film at www.obp.dissave.com/obp. The story is set in 1980 with
flashbacks to 1966 and we're looking for period specific vehicles to help
lend authenticity to the production. We're shooting in April and would most
likely only need the vehicles for a couple of days, and while our budget is
small we can offer you a modest compensation with a copy of the finished
film (slated for local film festivals and abroad), credit in the film, and
should you remain on set with you vehicle catering is provided.
Please let me know if you or members of your group would be interested in
discussing the project further. We will be shooting in and around the East
Bay with locations in El Cerrito, North Berkeley, San Mateo, and Hayward.
I hope this note finds you well.
Kind regards,
rory
