Finally....got the vert out of the garage, threw the top down and headed out
of town. 

At the very first stoplight, the conversation goes:

"Hey there, honey, what's one of them things worth?"

"Oh, I don't know, it's kind of priceless to me."

"No, seriously, what, 22-25k?"

"That'll work" :-)

 

....off to find the short in the headlight so she can stay out past curfew.
