JR,
Yeah... the Bryan Swap was THE place to be... that was where I first met lclc
and his lovely wife MB, Prof Wildman, that crazy Canuck Bruce Webster... a
few others, including JR and co-hort in crime Dom... the clubs used to have it
the last weekend of April, and I'd listen to WHAS 840AM in Louisville to the
coverage of the "Great Balloon Race" that would kick-off "Derby Week"... I'd
lose the station right around Van Wert, but watching the sunrise across that
northwest Ohio flatlands is truly a sight to behold, especially when you've spent
most of your formative years in the hills of Kaintuck.... the times I wished
I'd had a camera...
Yeah, I sure miss that Bryan Swap... and the deals to be made!
I picked up a set of "Clifford 6=8" aluminum valve covers there for $15 one
year!... still got 'em, too....
Big and scary? Me? Have you ever met up with "Little Joe" Robbins when he's
had a bad day? That would startle ANYBODY! He's one of the few that make ME
feel short!
;-)
