Hello Tim,

I am not sure about your definition of "handling," but I assume it refers
to high speed stability.

From my experience, a spoiler or air dam noticeably reduces an FC's
tendency to wander in cross winds. I have also noticed about 0.25 to 0.5
MPG improvement in fuel economy. Lowering the front end has a lesser but
similar effect. The best of both worlds is to make both modifications.

Check out Ken Hand (248) 613-8586 for a 1-2" lower replacement front spring
kit.

An air dam from a 89-92 Ford Ranger is an almost perfect fit to FC's. A
new one can be purchased from Brown's Of Two Rivers, Inc. (800) 558-7750.
