Bryan's answer is correct. I can't imagine a 225/60-15 will fit without 
the perfect wheel and some modification of the wheel well. A 215 might, 
but not a 225. Besides, the 225 is about 25.63 inches in diameter - 
almost a half-inch too tall. If you want a tall gear you may want to 
run these in the rear, but not in the front, unless you're trying to 
make your Corvair look like it has four-wheel drive or something.

My suggestion - buy the  tires, if they're a really good deal, then put 
them in the paper and sell them and but some 205/60's. For most people 
this is a good size.
