With the engine in the car, pulled the head last night.  Pulled the jug 
today - #5 has a 1" square chunk out of the piston between top and 2nd ring 
groove.  Going back out to pull the engine and tranny all the way out - it 
will just make it easier, Throw out bearing is howling anyhow.  Looks like 
I'm down at least a week or so.  I'll let you know more if I figure anything 
out.
