The best screws to use (IMHO) are the 1/4" socket deepwell head sheet
metal screws like what is used to hold the heater cable to the heater
control lever box. These screws are also the best to put the rear air
grille onto the back end of the car, as the deepwell head doesn't fall
off the socket like a normal shallow head screw will while you're
blindly hunting around for the hole.
They're "available" in either pointed end or blunt end (the latter is
great for use when the pointed end is visable.) I use the blunt end on
places like the a/c hose strap along the rocker panel, as there's less
chance of tearing your hand to shreads on the point while washing the
car.
Now if only we could get one of the vendors to sell them...... (Hello,
Unca Lon!)

I'm sure I have the answer in the references at home, but I'd like to pick up the screws to attach it on the way home tonight. Can someone tell me type and size of screws I need to get?
