A fellow Corvair Club member is in need for new rear wheel bearings
for his LM. It would be nice to get them here in the Netherlands.
Does anybody have a make and number for after market parts?

Guus, If your fellow club member has the time and expertise to assemble the
hub with proper clearances then just buying the bearings is a good way to
go. Unless he (or she) has the time to do the job right I'd recommend buying a
rebuilt assembly and just bolt it in. Even with air freight and customs the
time savings would still be my recommendation.

I know there are Corvette specialists in Germany (at least there used to be)
who could rebuild Corvette rear wheel assemblies and since the design is
similar and the requirement for accurate shimming is the same (though the parts
aren't) that might also be an option.

Best of luck,
