<VV> LM defroster baffles

I did some more digging... For sure I have seen more than one LM 500 without
any evidence of the baffles, my '66 coupe being one. But the assembly manual
does not call out the 500 as not having them, in any year ('65-9). So given
what Ned reported and what others said who emailed me directly, it's now
unclear to me what the actual situation is.

I do know that several people who have Canadian-built '65-6 Corvairs have
reported that their cars do not have the baffles and no indication of ever
having them. My blue 'vert is one example.

500s did not have the baffles so if the duct is from one, you won't have
any staple marks (assuming no one added them).

Really? We're talking about the cardboard on the outside of the duct,
right?
My 65 500 sedan has them...or should I say had them. They designated when I
removed the duct to restore the dash. Based on the rest of the car (last
registered in 72 and 30K miles with a title search to document), I'd bet
they were the originals.
