I ended up finding a shoulder bolt that was the correct size at the local bolt supply house. I then machined a new bushing out of nylon. Still only heard word of one other car with this style of frame. It is not necessarily a power/manual difference. I have spares now if any one ever needs one. Thanks to all who responded.
