Not hardly. I "got" the intended humor, misdirected as it was. Just
trying to help you salvage what humor there was with more "accurate"
wording. If you're going to tell a joke, you should at least be
technically accurate. Otherwise the humor will make no sense at all, and
the result is a lame joke.

Sorry, but what you had was a lame joke.
