In my experience it generally takes 7 business days for mail to Canada (R3T5W3). Generally your product will be delivered to the local post office and you will get a card in the mail saying you have an item to pick up. You will be charged PST and GST plus a $5 customs clearance fee.

Caution if you use UPS Ground rather than Mail as you will get hit with an additional "brokerage" fee for customs clearance, that could be an unexpected $40 or so. For a large shipment you can send it UPS (some items are too big to mail) and specify "self clearance" to clear it through customs yourself.
