Thank you for putting that in true perspective !
I was 25 when Tony and I (and Rose) worked together each weekend to put the
Quarterly together, stuffing envelopes and getting the magazine out, with
Rose constantly supporting him, and Tony worked so tirelessly that I never
even noticed the difference. There was none - he loved what he was doing
and his enthusiasm was contagious.
Blood sweat and tears (especially when his Corvairs got soaked when his
lower level garage got flooded !) he put into his second love (Rose was of
course, first)
You're right - it's the camaraderie that is infectious and will bring new
members of any age into the club, and keep them going...
