<VV> Correct Winshield Needed (as opposed to incorrect one)

The 64 Greenbrier Deluxe has been undergoing restoration since December. The
shop doing the work broke the nearly new, correct fitting windshield (no
longer available from original source). The good news: the shop supplied a new
replacement; the bad news: the replacement appears to be a touch too small...
a new one-piece Clark's gasket fit so loosely it flopped around on the new
glass; to make the gasket work, the installer had to cut and shorten the
gasket. Now it is as if the glass does not fill the opening. The outer edge of the
gasket, in the corners, tends to fall into the opening channel, and the
glass/gasket assembly is bulged outward (the glass is not pushing the gasket
laterally into the channel). The assembly also leaks like a sieve. Anyone out
there heard of replacement glass fitting this poorly (I don't yet know the
manufacture of the glass, but will before buying another windshield)? Also, is
there a source for a correct FC windshield? Help with this issue will be much
appreciated.
Thank you,
Mike Mauro
