Well, that *is* the question -- Do YOU want it to function?

Is fuel mileage a concern, do you drive conservatively or balls out, 
what sort of throttle response do you want, do you or you or your car 
rmind running momentaritly rich, these might all effect your opinion on 
this functionality.  Once upon a time, driiving like a young enthusiast 
with fuel well under a buck a gallon, I had four fully functional 
primary carbs on a 140 and was quite satisfied at the time with how they 
worked.

Again, it is your choice -- try it with and if you don't like it, remove 
the pump cups, or visa versa ...
