<VV> Piston rings concern

When I assemble an aircraft engine (big Corvair!), the rings are
staggered. I asked a technician at Lycoming the same thing once and his
reply was that the rings will rotate, but the times that they will all
align are remote - and they don't stay that way... but if you don't
stagger them, then you can have a problem!! As Bob says, it's not an
issue...
