Lonzo-You're so right about the Auburn Museum. I worked in Auburn for 10 years and visited the museum many times, also the Victory military museum. There's also a truck museum and the Kruse Labor day Auction that sells 4-5,000 cars over a 5 day period. The only problem is trying to see all the museums in a 1 day period. Ken Clark

Hey Guys and Gals,
I will second Bruce's recommendation to visit the ACD Museum... a few years
back, maybe 2000 or 2001, the family and I went up there and had a blast! Lots
of truly obscure stuff, including a Tucker... We had the pleasure of meeting a
little fellow up there who actually worked on the assembly line, and there
was a picture of him, maybe 20-something years old, helping drive the L29s off
the ramp and into the railroad station... some of the stories he told were
awesome... if he's still there he's mighty close to 100, and he was maybe 89 when
we were there.
So many beautiful cars.... I had the time of my life...
There's also a Military Vehicle Museum up that way... some cool stuff (Tatras
and Trabants and lots of tanks and some motorcycles), but NOTHING like the
ACD Museum....
Enjoy!!!
