<VV> '69 directional flasher question

My 68 has a flasher unit under the dash by the column. And another on the
fuse box that doesn't seem to do a bloody thing.
the under dash unit clicks with both the directional signals and the 4-way
flasher. the 67-69 4-way flasher was stock and an integral part of the turn
indicator switch. The famed Boyne switches that Kent just wrote about. I
now have two broken ones, but the little plastic ears are AOK (the part
that typically breaks). The 4-way flasher circuit seems to develop a short
that limits/prevents the purple wire (power from the flasher) to make it to
the directional signal. Mine latest went out coming home from a show --
similar traits before it stopped. I suspect I may have another gremlin
in the electrical circuitry, but need a better wiring diagram -- hint hint
Ned <grin> I got everything to work -- to get me to Detroit, the track
event, Concours and Autocross, and home again. But I will continue to look
to see if I am able to spot the original gremlin. May never find it.
