Perhaps the "double standard" you claim exists is due to this thread at least being about cars (as opposed to the other thread in question which had nothing at all to do with cars or Corvairs).  It probably should have had "no-Corvair" in the subject line but it's close to being on topic - so there lies the lack of motivation for posting a reminder of the guidelines.  Double standard?  Apples and oranges in my mind.  

Or were you just looking to stir up more "stuff" George?
