<VV> Weird e-mail test, you can stop now, thanks, but it's still
weird

Thank you all for your responses. Verry interesting.
My regular ISP, Optimum Online, delivered ZERO replies addressed to
either the Virtual Vairs or Fastvairs list.
It delivered FOUR of the replies that were addressed to Vairtec at optonline.net.
It delivered SIX of the replies addressed to RWMarlow at optonline.net.
My alternate ISP, Patriot Media, has thus far delivered TWENTY-SEVEN
replies addressed to RMarlow at patmedia.net.
Most of these messages were cross-copied to all addresses, meaning
that somewhere north of 20 listmembers' messages vanished when sent
to my regular ISP, which prior to this week has been as dependable as
gravity. And, of course, none of the Virtual Vairs or Fastvairs (or
anything else, I belong to three additional lists) comes through.
I've changed nothing -- same computers, same e-mail client, same
unrelated software, same local ISP for several years. My longtime
e-mail client is Eudora. As part of my troubleshooting I switched to
a different e-mail client in case Eudora, which is no longer
supported by Qualcomm, was the culprit. No improvement.
Time to call Optimum's support again.
Ain't technology fun?
