When I went through RF-4C RTU at Mt. Home in 1970, a classmate and friend who had been a B-58 DSO (third crew position) at Bunker Hill AFB, IN gave me his aluminum, B-58-logoed, fuel balance sliderule in a heavy leather case; still have it  Here they were, flying a state-of-the-art, Mach 3 airplane--IMO still one of the alltime best looking airframe designs--with a tremendously complicated analog flight control/engine computer (a sexy female voice recording would give advisories/warnings over interphone such as, "Number three engine is on fire.") and they're doing inflight CG calculations with a sliderule! :)
